Recently, when some of our lovely customers visit our studio to get measured up and pick fabrics for a jacket, they somehow seem to assume before they arrive that we are some kind of big company. Everyone is all a bit surprised when they arrive to be greeted by two short bearded men who seem to be slaving away constantly. So here is a little introduction and a nice little biog of our two man sewing squad.

First off, here's Rav...

Rav was born in Leeds and spent most of his childhood playing cricket and football in the street. He has a relatively varied career which started as a professional footballer at Leeds United (when they were not rubbish) from there he went through various jobs before doing his degree in fashion design at Leeds College of Art and Design. After that he moved to London to seek his fortune having heard that the streets are paved with gold. He is still seeking his fortune and still trying to find a decent fish and chips!

and then we have Tom

Tom spent his childhood in a bad mood, this has continued through to the present day. His varied career started with an almost useless degree in Philosophy at the University of York. From that he spent time doing a variety of soulless jobs from working in retail to music PR and ending up for a brief period in banking. Having taught himself to sew he started making clothes, somehow it became his career and from a small room in Homerton it has grown to a slightly bigger room just off Kingsland road. Tom is still waiting for his first payrise...
